We woke up at 4 today morning ,got ready, had some milk and went to railway station by 6. Then we met our other friend Arpit there and we started our journey to black forest. It takes 5.30 hrs from our place (Saarbrucken) and we had to change 5 trains to reach there. After 3 stations, Arpit’s friends also joined us. We all went to a place called Freiburg. There we went to tourist information to ask them how to go to Black forest. The lady there, gave us a map of the forest for 1.5 euro and told us the nice places and the way to go. Now we have to take one more train for about 40 mins to reach a place called Titesee.

We reached there, and walked to find a lake (for which the place is famous). It is a small village, a famous tourist spot. The lake is very beautiful surrounded by beautiful trees (all trees are very tall, almost same height and in black color). It is a very nice scenery. We took a motor boat and went around the lake. It costed about 8 euros for 5 people. It has motor, all we have to do is to change directions and gear. It is very nice. In the middle, it started raining and we had umbrellas with us. It is a boat ride for 30 mins. Then we ate some bun in the shop and again started to reach the highest peak in the black forest..It is about 40 mins from our place and we waited for bus for about an hour.

We reached there by 4.35. There are cable cars there to go to the peak of the mountain, but 4.30 is the closing time of the cable car (bad luck). We started climbing the hill(there is a way to go up). First we thought that it is very small mountain, but later climbing became very difficult(for me and mounica). Boys went fast and in the middle they waited for us. They told us to come slow, there is no hurry. We climbed slowly. It took almost 30 mins for us to climb. It is a very nice view from there.There is a lot if ice there.We took many pics there, it is really beautiful.

 

Then we came down the mountain and waited for the bus for about 30 mins. We went to station to catch the train at 8,we reached Saarbrucken by 12, there will be buses till 2 on weekend. We reached guest house at about 1. To my surprise, that 12am bus is completely full with lot of people, which I never saw in the Germany buses till now.

Black Forest is a great weekend destination, would definitely love to go back to this place anytime.
