Today morning, we reached Berlin by 7am. The railway station is very huge with 5-6 floors. It is very nice. We took a map and found that all places are nearby and we don’t need metro pass. We walked to the German Parliament house. It was very beautiful, felt that I didn’t see Indian parliament but visited German parliament. It was built after unification of Germany in 1990.

We again read the history there about the division of Germany and reunification. Then we went to Bradenburg gate, which looked like Warangal gate.

But this one is very huge, then we walked up to Berlin wall. We can see the remains of Berlin wall all along the streets. We can’t see the entire wall. But the bottom part of the wall in the ground remains there, still as part of the roads.

Only small part of the wall is still kept as a memory. There we saw the wall and entire history of Berlin wall. We got surprised when we found that Germany united only in 1989. It is so young country, it is after the 2nd world war, it got divided. They built a wall to separate both parts and they killed people who tried to cross the gate.

Then after that , we went to big market place called Post dam platz, in which there are big sky scrapers and buildings.

We saw the buildings and walked back to railway station , had some food and then got back to the train. We are really very tired and slept in the train. We reached Saarbrucken at 9pm and then came to guest house by 10 and cooked rice, had food and then slept.
