Day8- Bye Greece

Our hotel owner dropped us to the Paros port. She gave us a small souvenir made of lavender. We missed the lovely lady and the place. We saw a lot of tourists in the port waiting for the ferry just like us. Our doubts about the ferry are cleared looking at all those people. Finally, our Bluestar ferry arrived, much to our relief πŸ™‚ This is the first time we boarded a ferry at a stop in the middle. All economy seats are already occupied with passengers from Santorini and Naxos. We are left with only few seats in the deck.

This ferry ride is again bumpy full of turbulence and as we go up the ferry, turbulence increased. We couldn’t even stand for a second without holding onto anything. I will definitely miss the ferry rides and the Greek islands. Had to finally bid goodbye to Greek islands. I really wish to be on these ferries again in future.

We reached Athens on time and reached airport by cab safely. We got into our Qatar airways flight back to Doha, this time not very excited to get onto the flight. I already started missing Greece badly, particularly the islands and the people..

Forgot to mention that today is our anniversary πŸ™‚ Wishing my hubby a very happy anniversary. Our anniversary is a special one this year, we traveled using all means of transport on this day: Water, Land, Air

I came to Greece with a lot of expectations, but it surpassed all of them.

Bye Greece for now. Miss you, hoping to come back again..
