We started our day with a visit to Butterfly valley, which is full of butterflies of a particular species. We walked silently without disturbing them and felt interesting to find a bunch of butterflies residing on various trees.

We had an option to go to Antiparos cave, which is closer to Paros, that takes up complete day. Antiparos is a small island opposite to Paros, hence the name. Tom Hanks owns a house there and visits the island once a year. We preferred staying within the island and covering Paros instead of going to Antiparos.
After Butterfly valley, we rode upto Parikia, the main part of the island, where we visited an ancient cathedral which is famous for its doors. Then went on to souvenir shopping, which we have been postponing till the end of the trip. We bought many interesting souvenirs for our family.

After that, we had lunch and went to Aliki beach and spent the whole afternoon there. Due to the winds, the water level in the beach is very low and we could easily walk up into the sea.
By the time we reached hotel, we got to know from our owner that all ferries to Paros are cancelled that day. We would miss our flight in case we miss our ferry back to Athens the next day. Then we understood why people in various travel forums advised to reach Athens the day before the flight. Our hotel owner assured that the winds will reduce the next day. With fingers crossed, we enjoyed our last dinner in Greece on the beach side under the moon light.

Hoping for a clearer tomorrow!!
