Today is the most exciting beaches day !! We have kept this day at leisure to spent some time in different beaches around.

First we reached Pandawa beach. This beach is named after the 5 Pandawas(heroes in Mahabharata) and huge statues of Kunti and all 5 pandawas are present outside the beach. “Pantai” in Balinese means beach.

It is a very well maintained beach with green water and pure white sand. Though it is sunny, water felt cold and that balanced us 🙂

We then went to the most famous Kuta beach leaving all our belongings in the hotel. It is in walkable distance from our hotel. That is the most crowded beach we have seen so far in Bali and its safe for swimming and surfing. I forgot to mention about coconuts here, they are very huge in size and tasted very fresh. So, we had coconut every day and would recommend anyone going to Bali not to miss the fresh coconut.

If you see the black and white cloth in the Bhima statue above, the same cloth is used everywhere across Bali which symbolizes both good and bad. The same cloth is used to cover tables on restaurants also.
