Another Sunday exploration is Cronulla beach – We had been to Manly and Bondi beaches already and wanted to explore a different area and beach. We chose Cronulla, as we never had been on that train route and wanted to take a look at the locality too.

Beach is pretty close to the station and realized that it is by far, the most convenient beach to reach. For Bondi, we had to stop at a station and take a bus. Manly has to be reached by buses or ferry. So, Cronulla felt like an ideal beach to reach by public transportation.

 

There were many restaurants beside the beach and all of them looked full on a sunday evening.

 

The beach was also not that crowded, compared to other city beaches. We spent sometime there till sunset and started back to our place.

I wished Sydney to have a west coast, as the beach sunsets would have been beautiful. Now that the sea is on the east side, we need to wake up early to catch sunrise, which might happen rarely. Though it is challenging, it is on our plan list, to wake up early on a weekend and catch the beach for a perfect sunrise 🙂
